Privacy

Priced keeps as little about you as it can. You can check every price without an account, and nothing then identifies you. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Without an account

• We count page views and clicks on retailer links per day, without your IP address or any identifier, so we know which pages and buttons are used.
• When a search or a barcode scan finds nothing, we keep the words searched or the barcode scanned, so we can add missing games. Nothing about who searched is kept with it.

With an account

• Your email address. If you sign in with Google or Discord, also the name and profile picture link they share and which account it is.
• Your handle and settings, your collection (each game, its condition, and the price paid, date and notes you add), your wishlist, your console vote, and any PriceCharting collection link you import.
• For each device you sign in on: when you signed in, its IP address and browser name, so you stay signed in and we can spot misuse.
• Your collection is private. If you turn on the public page in Settings, anyone with its link sees your games and their prices, but never what you paid or your notes.

Cookies and your browser

• Signed in, a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in, and two small cookies let pages show that you are, with your initial or picture.
• A cookie that lasts one minute carries confirmations such as "Added to your collection".
• Your browser also remembers the condition and console you last picked, the price-change window and games you viewed recently. These stay on your device; Priced's servers never see them.
• No advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics that identify you.

Who else handles data

• Amazon Web Services hosts the site and its database and sends sign-in emails.
• Cloudflare runs the priced.games domain and forwards email sent to priced.games addresses.
• Google and Discord, if you sign in with them, share your email address, name and picture with us.
• eBay, Best Buy, Amazon and GameStop: when you follow a link to them you are on their site, under their privacy policies. The link tells them the visit came from Priced, which is how we may earn a commission, but not who you are.

Your choices

• Change your name, handle and settings in Settings, and edit or remove anything in your collection and wishlist at any time.
• Delete your account and everything tied to it yourself with Delete my account at the bottom of Settings. It takes effect at once.
• For a copy of your data, or if you cannot sign in, email support@priced.games from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days.
• Priced is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep data about them.

If this changes, we update this page and its date. Questions go to the same address.
